Entrepreneurial leave tax credit program?

This has been proposed in Maryland. It would encourage employers to implement leave policies that provide unpaid leave for employees for the purpose of establishing or expanding an employee business in the State; requiring the Department to conduct research on the benefits of entrepreneurship, the creation of leave policies, and the utilization of entrepreneurial leave by employees; and allowing a credit against the State income tax for certain employers. Whether this proposal goes anywhere remains to be seen. #IdeaoftheDay
