The Uyghur Forced Labor Protection Act, which was unanimously passed by both houses of Congress, took effect on June 21, 2022. It bans the importation of all goods made in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Regions in China on the presumption that they were made by forced labor, with exceptions made on a case-by-case basis. U.S. Customs can seize such goods. Importers take note! #IdeaoftheDay
