Under a proposed bill called the Skill and Knowledge Investments Leverage Leaders’ Untapped Potential Tax Credit Act (SKILL UP Act) (H.R. 5869), the work opportunity tax credit would gain a new targeted group: employees participating in a work-based learning program.
