Today is a Christian holiday. Many retailers, such as Costco, Sam’s Club, Publix, Apple, Best Buy, and Target as well as some organizations choose to close or have reduced hours today. Nonetheless, according to the National Retail Federation, Easter sales for holiday-related merchandise (e.g., apparel, candy, gifts, decorations, food) are expected to reach nearly $24.9 billion.
