The Department of Labor issued a final rule on Association Health Plans (AHPs). The final rule creates more options for small employers to get access to affordable health coverage. The rule is expected to favorably impact by 2023 15 million workers at small businesses and sole proprietors as well as their families currently lacking health coverage.
