The U.S. Department of Defense created the Office of Strategic Capital to help finance technologies. What type of businesses could qualify for this assistance? “Included among the types of technologies the OSC is interested are those that would typically have mostly commercial interest and not be purchased directly by the department, but which would enable future defense capabilities.” The SBA has applauded this move, but it remains to be see whether or to what extent small businesses and start-ups will benefit. #IdeaoftheDay
