Deadline for Submitting 2015 W-2s and 1099s to the Government

While such forms were required to be furnished to employees and independent contractors by February 1, today is the deadline for filing them with the government if you do so on paper (W-2s with the Social Security Administration; 1099s with the IRS). If you file electronically, you have until March 31. Find information about registration for efiling with the SSA here.
