If you are an applicable large employer (ALE) subject to the employer mandate or of any size with a self-insured health plan, today is the deadline for providing employees with information returns explaining their 2020 coverage. There are new codes for Individual Coverage HRAs. Form 1095-C for ALEs and Form 1095-B for self-insured health plans was required to be transmitted to the IRS, with accompanying transmittal forms, was due February 28 if filing on paper; it’s due March 31, 2021, if filing electronically. #IdeaoftheDay
