Cyber Monday, which started in 2005, is supposed to be the biggest online shopping day of the year in the U.S. and in many other countries. Last year, sales reached a record $10.8 billion, up 15% over the previous year. With the shopping season having started earlier this year, it’s unclear how important Cyber Monday will be.
