Coworking versus leasing—which is cheaper?

According to a survey of 146 cities by CoworkingCafe, coworking (subscription-based flex office space) for a team of 10 was more affordable than traditional office leasing in 96% of the cities analyzed, with the cost of coworking subscriptions less than half the price of an office lease in 17 cities. But in some of the cities, the differential wasn’t significant (e.g., 1% in Kansas City, MO) and in a few, such as Cincinnati, OH, leases were 11% cheaper than the average coworking subscription. Compare the annual cost of a coworking membership to the cost of a yearly lease in your location to make a better financial choice. Of course, cost isn’t the only factor in deciding how to nail down work space. #IdeaoftheDay
