Today is a national holiday in the U.S.; most federal offices are closed. The FLSA does not require you to give employees the day off or pay anything special to employees who work today (unless overtime rules apply), but you can always choose to do so. Whether this holiday is celebrated in your state can be found here (some states celebrate the day as Native American’s Day or Indigenous People’s Day).
