Businesses with group health plans that must offer COBRA have until tomorrow to provide notice of the temporary subsidy to involuntarily terminated and reduced-hour workers. This means eligible individuals who opt for COBRA get it free from April 1, 2021, through September 30, 2021 (with a refund of any previously paid premiums for this period); employer pay the premiums via employment tax credits.
