Merry Christmas to all of you who observe the day. Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah and tomorrow is the start of Kwanzaa. This is a holiday season, and the National Retail Federation (NRF) says 92% of U.S. adults plan to celebrate these holidays. NRF also says holiday sales could reach record highs this year. The increase is “largely attributable to gifts for family members.” About a quarter (23%) of consumers shop at small businesses. #IdeaoftheDay
