Today is the start of National Fire Prevention Week (October 8 through 14). The theme for this year: “Cooking safety starts with YOU!” Make sure your workplace kitchens are safe. With or without cooking facilities in the workplace, take this time to look for fire hazards and check your smoke detectors, CO detectors, expiration dates on fire extinguishers and fire exit lights in your facilities.
