Career Control Is the #1 Reason for Self-employment

FreshBook’s 3rd Annual Self-Employment Report found that an astounding 24 million full-time employees are thinking about leaving their jobs to pursue self-employment. Why? According to the report, 65% want control over when they work, 56% want control over how hard they work, and 47% want to choose where they work. And 63% say money is less important than quality of life.
