Business taxpayers registered as a designated official for an S or C corporation in Business Tax Account must revalidate their status by July 29, 2026, to renew their role. Annual renewal is required to maintain access to Business Tax Account. To renew, the designated official must meet all 3 conditions: (1) be an officer (president, vice president, CEO, CFO, COO, secretary, treasurer) or managing member of the entity, (2) be a current employee who received a W-2 for the most recent tax filing year, and (3) is authorized to legally bind the corporation. #IdeaoftheDay
