Since 1976, every president in the U.S. has designated February as Black History Month. It is also celebrated in other countries, including Canada and the U.K. According to the SBA, Black business ownership is impressive, with more than 3.2 million businesses in the U.S. employing nearly 1.2 million workers. And SBA-backed loans to Black-owned small businesses increased by 2½ times from 2017 to 2023, indicating significant business growth. According to Pew, the number of Black-owned businesses was up 14% during this period. #IdeaoftheDay
