Bill to Expand the Work Opportunity Credit

Employers can claim a tax credit for hiring individuals from specified targeted categories. A new bill (H.R. 2318) would add a new category for military spouses. If enacted, the expanded credit would apply to military spouses who begin work after the date of enactment.
