According to WalletHub’s study, in 2019 Texas is the best state in which to start a business, followed by Utah, Georgia, North Dakota, and Oklahoma. The worst states: Rhode Island, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Hawaii, and Connecticut. Some of the criteria (there were 26 key indicators) used to make this list: access to cash, skilled workers, and affordable office space.
