It’s difficult to know because you have to check each federal agency’s rules. Under a bi-partisan bill—One Stop Shop for Small Business Compliance (H.R. 4877) —which was approved in the House’s Small Business Committee, an ombudsman would be required to maintain a website with hyperlinks to the small business compliance guides of each federal agency, as well as the relevant points of contact for the guides. Would this be helpful? Yes. Will the measure be enacted? Who knows (it was brought up last year but wasn’t enacted then). #IdeaoftheDay
