The Tax Foundation’s ranking of the tax climate in the states is in, and shows Wyoming is tops, followed by Alaska (2), South Dakota (3), Florida (4), and Montana (5). The worst climates can be found in New Jersey (50), New York (49), California (48), Connecticut (47) [DC (also 47) was in the bottom group)], and Arkansas (46).
