The Tax Foundation’s 2016 International Tax Competitive Index found that the top countries are Estonia, New Zealand, Latvia, Switzerland, and Sweden. Canada was 19th; the U.S. ranked 35th. Noteworthy: New Zealand reformed its corporate and individual taxes in 2010 and this helps boost the country’s ranking for 2016.
