Federal regulations creative paperwork and costs, which fall disproportionately on small businesses. The proposed PROVE IT Act would strengthen the voice of small businesses in the rulemaking process. The Act is supported by the SBE Council and many other business groups. And it would require that guidance from federal agencies be easily accessed online as well as having assistance for questions and concerns. A similar measure was proposed in the Senate.
