Veterans Day is November 11th, the day on which the armistice for World War I took effect. It is also Remembrance Day, a public holiday in Canada, which is celebrated on November 11th. There are about 1.6 million veteran-owned businesses in the U.S. The SBA offers various resources for veterans and their spouses to start and grow businesses, including counseling and training, access to capital, and government contracting. #IdeaoftheDay
