Each month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics releases an employment situation summary, which includes job creation and the unemployment rate. The September report reflecting August numbers, showed the unemployment rate at 4.3% and that only about 22,000 jobs were created. Small business owners say they can’t fill their job openings. NFIB reported earlier this month that 32% of these owners said they had unfilled positions. What to do? Consider using contract workers or temps to plug the holes in staffing on a temporary basis. #IdeaoftheDay
