According to the Identity Theft Resource Center, data breaches in the first half of 2025 were ahead of 2024’s pace at this point in the year. The numbers are staggering: 1,732 breaches triggering over 165 million notices to victims. Obviously, you want to take steps to minimize the chances of a breach.
