The AAA predicts that nearly 55 million travelers will be traveling more than 50 miles from home during this Thanksgiving. That’s a 1.5% increase over last year, and a 98% increase from pre-pandemic volumes. It could be the busiest Thanksgiving travel day since tracking starting in 2000.
