The data is in. According to the second annual Kauffman Foundation-LegalZoom survey of entrepreneurs, the number of startups increased. Among respondents, businesses with 1 to 4 employees increased from 25% in 2012 to 26.5% in 2013. Of those with new businesses, 12% had revenues above $100,000, a 4 percentage point increase over 2012.
