A report from the SBA’s Office of Advocacy suggests that student loan debt impacts career choices (student loan debt is rising and entrepreneurship declining). In 2012, about 17% of young households with a self-employed member that had student debt applied for business loans in the last 5 years versus 27% without student debt.
