The Export-Import Bank, which is designed to help exporters (many of which are small businesses) lost its lending ability when Congress let its funding lapse (it was not extended under the Trade Act passed in June). However, EXIM will continue to service outstanding loans. EXIM hopes to be reauthorized later this year.
