The Small Business Start-up Savings Account Act of 2015 (S. 1262) would allow annual contributions up to $10,000 to an IRA-like account. Distributions to pay for the purchase of equipment or facilities, marketing, training, incorporation, accounting fees, and certain capital expenditures would not be taxed. If enacted, the proposed bill would be effective starting in 2016.
