QuickBooks offers an online accounting solution for self-employed individuals. Freelancers can use the product to calculate estimated quarterly and year-end taxes so there are no surprises in April. Companies using independent contractors can enroll them so that payments to them through Stripe (a web and mobile payment system) automatically populate the contractors’ accounts. Uber has partnered with Intuit to offer QuickBooks Self Employed free of charge to all of its drivers.
