That’s the finding of Sam Club’s/Gallup Microbusiness Tracker (5 or fewer employees, which account for 81% of U.S. businesses). Nearly one-third of microbusiness owners (31%) depend on another job for their main source of income. Over half of startups (54%) rely on income from a second job.
