Yesterday marked the start of Hispanic Heritage Month. According to the DOL, there are about 10.7 million Hispanic women in the civilian workforce, representing 1 in 7 women in the U.S. labor force. This is nearly double their presence in 1994. It is projected that by 2022, they will be 17.3% of the female labor force. Of native-born Hispanic women in the workforce, 27% are college graduates.
