A Kauffman study in November found that “tailwinds” that can boost the American economy now is women entrepreneurs. There is room for considerable growth since women currently only account for about one-third of business owners, but hold more than half of all college degrees. But to achieve entrepreneurship equality, the financing gap (it’s easier for men to get financing than women) must close.
