The Veterans Entrepreneurial Transition (VET) Act of 2015 (S. 1870) would allow vets to use some dollars targeted for education under the GI bill to get entrepreneurial training and then start a business. The Veterans Small Business Enhancement Act of 2015 (S. 1400) would give veteran-owned businesses access to surplus government property. Chances of enactment for these measures: who knows?
