According to the Biz2Credit Winter Weather Report 2014, the answer, unfortunately, is yes in many states. While January and February are normally slow months for retailers, this year has seen a significant drop in retail sales, down 13%. Other hard hit industries: construction, manufacturing, arts, entertainment and recreation.
