For optimum protection for your data, consider encryption for your computers as well as for flash drives and external hard drives. For example, Microsoft’s BitLocker Drive Encryption (for Windows 7 or Vista) can protect data on your devices from loss, theft, or hackers. Note: There supposedly are tools that can be purchased to decrypt BitLocker and other encryption tools, so continue to beware.
