A new report from the SBA shows the demographic characteristics of business owners and employees for 2013. The characteristics include age, gender, race, ethnicity, veteran status, marital status, education, citizen, homeowner, and location. For example, the majority (51.7%) are age 50 to 88; two-thirds of business owners of all ages are married.
