If you work from home but can’t claim a home office deduction (e.g., it isn’t your principal place of business), you can still deduct part of your home’s Internet access costs, according to the Tax Court. The court allowed a deduction for 75% of his Time Warner costs attributable to Internet access based on his testimony.
