Credit reduction states

December 7, 2014 / By Hudson Fusion

Employers cannot use the full credit for state unemployment taxes in states that haven’t repaid loans from the federal government to cover their unemployment benefit claims. For 2014, DOL announced (click on “final FUTA credit reduction”) that the following are credit reductions states: California, Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, New York, North Carolina, and Ohio.

Did you miss this month’s issue of Big Ideas for Small Business®? No worries, you’ll find December’s newsletter right here on my website along with past archived issues. AND, remember to subscribe to have your own free copy delivered to your inbox the first of each month!
