Today is the deadline for providing employees and independent contractors with their tax forms for 2014 (Form W-2 for employees who earned any amount; Form 1099-MISC for independent contractors who earned a total of $600 or more from you). (The usual deadline of January 31 fell on a Saturday this year.) Today is also the deadline for filing your federal employer tax returns (Form 941 or 944 as well as Form 940).
