President Obama wants to raise the federal minimum wage rate to $10.10 per hour. A Manta/CNNMoney survey found that 44% of owners were in favor of it; 49% oppose it. Jointly they said that only 7% of their workforce was minimum wage employees. If the higher rate goes into effect, 26% would cut back on employee hours, 32% would raise prices, but 48% wouldn’t make any changes.
